中國(guó)醫(yī)學(xué)科學(xué)院/北京協(xié)和醫(yī)學(xué)院病原生物學(xué)研究所黨委副書(shū)記、紀(jì)委書(shū)記、課題組組長(zhǎng)。全國(guó)結(jié)核病防治綜合質(zhì)量控制專家指導(dǎo)委員會(huì)委員、中國(guó)免疫學(xué)會(huì)感染免疫分會(huì)委員、中國(guó)防癆協(xié)會(huì)結(jié)核病基礎(chǔ)專業(yè)分會(huì)常委?!吨腥A結(jié)核和呼吸雜志》和《結(jié)核與肺部疾病雜志》編委。
主要研究方向是感染、炎癥與免疫機(jī)制研究。主持或參與國(guó)家科技重大專項(xiàng)、國(guó)家重點(diǎn)研發(fā)計(jì)劃、國(guó)家自然科學(xué)基金、醫(yī)學(xué)與健康科技創(chuàng)新工程等多項(xiàng)國(guó)家級(jí)和院校級(jí)科研項(xiàng)目,參與多項(xiàng)戰(zhàn)略咨詢項(xiàng)目研究。在SCI收錄雜志上發(fā)表學(xué)術(shù)論文30余篇;獲得6項(xiàng)發(fā)明專利授權(quán);獲得中華醫(yī)學(xué)科學(xué)技術(shù)獎(jiǎng)二等獎(jiǎng)(排名第五)、重大專項(xiàng)創(chuàng)新團(tuán)隊(duì)獎(jiǎng)。

結(jié)核病等我國(guó)重大傳染病免疫機(jī)制及新型生物標(biāo)識(shí)的研究。
